Public Speaking

As a public speaker, peer counselor, author, artist, and expressionist. I use my experiences, observations, and skills as an Energy Reader to effectively communicate and hold space for others.

Utilizing my experience as a woman, daughter, Mother, Wife, Marine Corps Veteran, sexual assault survivor,  I speak on the intersectionality of race, trauma, healing, and the importance of sexual and mental health.

I conceived my daughter from being raped in the Marine Corps. Having that experience, while raising my daughter and having no resources motivated me to create resources for women who have experienced the same thing.

In the mean time I am aware that as a black woman our voices are marginalized and I aim to create a continued conversation about the importance of:

Healing from family dynamics, self imagery and body image conversations, the need for honest dialect between mothers and daughters to reconcile traumas and create resolutions for effective communication and healing.

As a facilitator I speak to women about their sexual awareness post sexual assault. Even for women who don't experience rape, sexual assault or harassment, sociocultural environment and pressures, along with relationship dynamics can breed insecurities in young women, that if not discussed or dealt with, grows in to women dealing with these same insecurities about their bodies and body image. I believe there's healing energy in anger. Instead of desensitizing ourselves to the emotions that make us uncomfortable, integrating them helps us heal honestly. It's important to find spaces to express those emotions so they won't become destructive.

There are support groups for many areas of stigmatization. My pen pal circle group is there to offer that. If you would like to share your story, please write us.
